Quilting Ideas: Starling Quilt
Now that the Starling QAL from Suzy Quilts is coming to an end it’s time to start thinking about quilting! In just a sec I’m going to show you a boatload of delicious examples and make some suggestions on other pantographs I think would be excellent. But first I want to remind you of the 25% longarm quilting services discount on any Starling Quilt that arrives in the studio by the end of June! Lots of time to finish up that one from the QAL as well as whip up one or two more. ;)
Above from left to right we have Kaleidocurvey (Intelligent Quilting) pieced for Trace Creek Quilting, Abundance (Urban Elementz) and Bubble Clams (Sew Shabby Quilting) pieced for Trace Creek Quilting and Sarah Made, and Six Petal Flower (Dastardly Line Quilting) pieced by Amanda Picard. Below from right to left we have Fancy Pants (Sew Shabby Quilting) pieced for Global Fiber Shop, Uneven Flow (Julie Hirt) and Trance (Ma Tante Quilting) pieced for Sarah Made, and Chantilly Lace (Intelligent Quilting) pieced by Abby Reed.
Starling is a great canvas for any panto so head to our Pantograph Library and pick out a couple of your favorites! If you would like a little inspiration, below are a few I would love to add to a Starling Quilt! (And I have tons of other ideas!)
A quick, but very heartfelt THANK YOU to Suzy and her team for letting me be a sponsor of the QAL. It’s always wonderful working with them and being a part of these events.
