Heather Glessner

With TCQ since 2019, Heather has worn many hats as we have evolved. Her willingness to take on anything and constantly brainstorm business practices and ideas makes her an invaluable member of this team. She currently runs her own longarm machine, the third under the TCQ umbrella. Her meticulous attention to detail and speed are key to keeping quality and pace exactly where we like it.

Julia Newmann

Julia is the secret behind any task that requires a sewing machine and Dang! is she good. Her binding skills are nothing short of magic and her willingness to do the often unnoticed background work sets us up for success on each an every quilt top that comes our way. In addition to all of those tasks, she brought TCQ’s 4th longarm machine online in the summer of 2022 helping keep our turnaround short and our quality high as we continue to grow.

Gayle Larson

Success in a small business often isn’t how good you are at what you want to do, but how well you are doing the stuff you don’t want to do. For TCQ, that is where Gayle comes in. A retired CPA, she makes sure invoices are sent, books are kept, taxes are paid, and all the other non-sexy tasks that actually keep this show on the road. And lucky for me she also happens to be a talented quilter in her own right, making some of the most amazing quilts that come through the studio.

Angela Armstrong

A professional photographer and graphic designer, Angie is our Visual Curator. She is the secret behind all the photographs coming out of TCQ; be it on our IG feed, the website, or the photo packages you purchase! She helps curate our overall visual look, coaches me through all our graphic design needs, and in general is killing it as a fellow female business owner in St. Louis!

Jenifer Robertson

Jen is our most recent addition and we are so glad to have her! She takes on the bulk of our binding work ensuring we are able to do things quickly and efficiently. Jen also works in the studio weekly to help keep the machines operational, batting and thread in stock, and quilts prepped in a timely manner when other tasks need my attention. And last but certainly not least, Jen rounds out my marketing and social media team keeping our calendar and creating the base of much of what we post. Her organization, marketing advice, and upbeat personality are filling all the little gaps that needed filling and it’s hard to imagine TCQ without her!

Kristin Buckholz

As a Kristin has been lending her expertise to TCQ from the start. In 2022 she officially came on board as a regular assistant managing the website, which she built in the first place, and helping TCQ better navigate social media and all the analytic tools and data that come with it. She puts up with my crazy ideas, my last minute changes, and my reluctance to take on things that seem intimidating. Her patience, guidance, and persistence is key in improving the experience customers have when interacting with TCQ, our website, and our social media.

Eric Fey

Shipping Manager extraordinaire, Eric has helped streamline our shipping costs and processes. If there is ever a delay in getting a package out, you can bet he’s out of town and I’m the one dropping the ball. If he keeps this up, I might just promote him to VP of Shipping.

In addition to working in the studio with me 2-3 late nights a week, Eric is my rock. He evens out my ups and downs, encourages me when I have new ideas, and calms me when things go awry. If you wanted to thank anyone in this organization, it should probably be this man behind the curtain who helps me keep it all together.

Linda Whitener

She has a lot of titles; doer of all things no one else wants to do, sounding board, investor, cheerleader, but above all else - Mom. She’s present in all aspects of TCQ from the name itself to the larger picture of what we hope we have become. It’s only right that she deserves a place in this listing of folks who make TCQ what it is.
