New Pantos!

Some people shop for shoes - always looking, dreaming of ways they would elevate an outfit, be both functional and stylish, or just wish for them because they are pretty. You can relate, I know you shop for fabric. For me, however, it isn’t shoes or even fabric. It’s pantographs! I looooove browsing through them, imagining what quilts I would use them on, putting them in and taking them out of my online cart. It’s a thing, you get it. But the best thing about my obsession is how much it benefits you! Read on to hear about my latest shopping spree and how we are improving our pantograph experience so you can love browsing as much as I do!

‘Quilting Patterns’ is now ‘Pantographs’

Now that longarming is so much more common than when I started and the language of longarmers is seeping into the quilting society, we are switching over to the most correct wording of what we offer. ‘Quilting Patterns’ is now ‘Pantographs’. I find more and more people are familiar with this word and I want to help continue it’s journey into mainstream language, at least in the quilting industry. You will also see me refer to them as ‘panto(s)’ for short.

New Pantographs!

We have over 30 new pantographs in the Pantograph Library! It’s exciting to be keeping things fresh, modern, yet versatile enough for all the quilts that come to the studio.

New pantos can be found on the ‘New’ tab once you are in the library, as well as in reverse alphabetical order at the very beginning of the library listings. (Sneak peek below!)

Updated Favorites!

Based on what folks have been requesting in the past 6 months as well as pantos we really love to put on quilts, we’ve updated our ‘Favorites’. Our hope is this page of 60 or so pantographs can be a good starting point that is not quite as overwhelming as the general library page can seem. You’ll find some of the original favorites still hanging around as well as many new pantos!

Where Do I Find New Pantographs?

I have several places I visit when looking for new pantographs. I have a deep admiration for the designers listed on our Friends of TCQ page as well as others.
Lately, I’ve been super obsessed with a designer I am lucky enough to call friend - Melissa from Sew Shabby Quilting. She just started designing at the end of 2022 and there isn’t a single panto on her site that I would hesitate to purchase and put on a quilt. Just give me a reason! ;)
Karlee Porter, The Quilting Mill, and Julie Hirt continue to put out new and fun content regularly that is absolutely worth keeping an eye on.

New Search Function!

This is a brand new feature that we are still testing. It works about 85% of the time which we realize is not ideal. But! It’s there, it is helpful, and in the meantime we are testing, tweaking, and overall working to improve your experience.

You can find the search at the top of the main pantograph library page. Feedback is certainly welcome!
